We do not ask you to create an account or submit health, payment, or contact information to use the site.
We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies, identifiers, analytics, and advertising

When you accept our privacy prompt, we load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Ahrefs Analytics, and record an approximate U.S. city visit through our Ad Services. A first-party cookie remembers a successful count for 30 days so subsequent page views are not counted again; no city visit is sent before you accept. These providers may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, approximate location inferred from IP address, and interaction data to measure use, prevent fraud, and support advertising. Google may use and share this information under its own policies, including to personalize ads where its settings and applicable law allow. We do not control how Google combines data across its services.

Until you accept, these optional analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded. A necessary local browser setting records your choice so we can remember it.

Your choices

You can accept or decline optional analytics and advertising from the privacy prompt, or change your choice any time using the Privacy choices button in the site footer. You can also manage ad personalization in Google My Ad Center, review how Google uses data on partner sites, and use your browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking cookies may prevent us from remembering your preference.

Data security

We limit direct collection because readers do not create accounts here. Third-party providers process data under their own security practices and retention policies. Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
